From medical appointments to business meetings, you will help our clients overcome language barriers and ensure that everyone involved feels heard and understood.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret spoken languages, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Convey spoken messages between individuals accurately, taking into account cultural nuances and context
• Facilitate communication in various settings, such as meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings
• Research and familiarize yourself with relevant subject matter to ensure accurate interpretation
• Assist with document translation as requested
• Utilize appropriate interpretation equipment and technology
• Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation, depending on the situation and client’s needs

• High School Diploma Or GED  Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree ( A Plus)
• CCHI Or NBCMI Certification ( A Plus)
• Fluency in at least two languages, including English
• Strong verbal communication skills and listening comprehension
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Proven experience in interpretation is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to travel to various locations, as needed
